Scarpa included a refined torsion frame in the Women's T2 Lady Telemark Ski Boot. This provides maximum lateral stability without losing the original T2 flex, so you won't flail when heavenly fluff gives way to hellish gnar and you won’t feel like you suddenly stepped into stiff alpine clunkers. The narrow, women's-specific last and triple-injected cuff reduce slop and increase control over your turns even when you're riding your fat skis. Scarpa gave the T2 Lady Boot weight-trimming aluminum buckles and a replaceable edge guard, not only to increase durability, but to disperse forefoot buckle pressure for all-day touring comfort.

The ball of my foot is very wide, my heel is narrow. How will these boots fit my foot?

Responded on

I think you will be just fine. The liners are heat moldable so you can really customize the fit . I fear if you go to the mens size which is wider you will loose that nice narrow heal fit.

Hi, I have T2 Lady Telemarks that are right before the T2x. I wear size 7 women's. My T2s are mondo 23 and they are toooo small -- they kill my big toes. I also have T1s in 5.5 (before wmns existed) and also T3s in 4.5-5 (before wmns existed) and they both fit fine. What size do you recommend for this T2x? or do you recommend going with men's sizing and boots?

I am a US women's 7 (37.5) in street shoes. I have a low volume foot. I tried the 22.5 (in scarpa same shell size as 23!) and they are too small. I'm a downsizer so I wanted them to fit. I went up a shell size to the 23.5 (same shell as 24, apparently scarpa is different than some boot makers) and I think it will work.

I have some older T2's that still have the lace-up liners. I love the boots and they're still in good shape but they're getting too packed out. Can I buy moldable liners for the older boots and if so where? The newer liners I saw at a local store were made for the newer boots and were too high.

Hi. I had my first day out on these boots recently. I took a nasty fall and sprained my ankle. I am wondering if these boots may have contributed to the sprain or perhaps it was just bad luck. I have never had an ankle injury in my previous 15 years of tele and am an advanced tele skier. My previous boots were also scarpa t2- dark blue ones and while a little more roomy than these new ones I have never experienced any ankle issues. Thoughts?

Bad luck. I've never heard of problems with these boots specifically. I know tons of people that ski on T2s, men and women, without a hitch.

Bad falls can cause injuries, no doubt. Different boots and different fits can put your foot in a different position and change how the forces are going to affect your anatomy. I don't think it's very predictable though. I agree, bad luck. Hope you get better soon!

Hi, I have a 7 0r so year old pair of Scarpa T2's. I have a ladies 8.5 size foot with my left foot being a little bigger than my right. Over the years I have consistantly had Left big toe bang/ and freezing problems due to tightness. I did have the shell toe punched out a little and liner stretched some, but still I think I need a bigger size. My blue shell just has a #5 imprinted on the inside of the sole in the heel area and my liner has "7 WS" stamped on it. So I'm guessing it's a Mens size 5 shell with Womens 7 liner. What size would be best for me in the new T2s to allow more circulation for my left toes? Also, I mostly ski in area at Alta and ski alpine style, don't tele, I've been pleased with the performance of my old t2s, still good to go with this model??? Thanks for your help!

Why are you alpine skiing on tele boots? Get some alpine boots.

My girlfriend just bought these....she wears an 8 and purchased size 25.0. I wear size 9 women's and was wondering if I should get a size 25.5 or 26.0? What do you typically recommend? The sizing chart recommends 25.5. Should they be a little tight?

Responded on

I have these boots in a 21, and should have probably had the 22's , just so you know they are a very narrow fit.

Responded on

Like your girl friend I wear a size 8 in shoes, but I went for the 23.5 in these boots. They were tight when new, but now that they are packed out a bit they feel just right. Still snug enough to feel secure, but comfortable. They should be pretty tight, especially when you first get them. Otherwise as they pack out they will end up being too big and your foot will be all over the place. Best to get professionally fitted, but if not then perhaps purchase two sizes and return one. It will be worth the extra expense to have boots that fit just right.

I have a pair of T2 Lady Telemark that are just before these new ones came out. My bootfitter believes that they are too soft for me, & he thinks I need a stiffer boot. What are your thoughts, is the new T2 stiffer than the previous model? I'm 5'2 1/2" & 110 weight. I tried the T1 on, but it's way too big. I measure just a hair smaller than 22.5 & the T2 boots I have now seem too large also - they say 5 on the box...does that help?

Responded on

Liza the new T2x is definately going to be stiffer than the previous model. If your a hair smaller than a 22.5 keep in mind that you will jump a whole shell size down (21.5-22 are the same shell). this may be too small for you, you want to have 1/2 to 3/4 inch space between your heel and the back of the shell when the liners are out, toes touching the front of the shell.

I'm wondering if the T2 Lady Telemark is for me. We do long-distance touring, sometimes 8 or 9 days on the trail with heavy packs. When we hit the alpine we enjoy telemarking if conditions permit, but the majority of our activity is touring, exploring, etc. Will the T2 be comfortable all-day touring,or is it more suited for downhill?

Responded on

Need a little more info...terrain and skis/bindings set up, but it sounds like the T2 is appropriate. Particularly with heavy packs, you want the extra support. Super comfy, particularly with moldable liners.
