Built specifically for female climbers, the Scarpa Women’s Summit GTX Mountaineering Boot delivers the kind of all-mountain comfort, support, and performance that Scarpa is known for. Technically produced with a waterproof reverse suede upper, added ankle padding, and a Gore-Tex Duratherm lining, your hard-working feet stay dry and warm in harsh alpine terrain. An articulated construction improves the mobility of the Summit GTX, while a high ankle profile and mountaineering-specific lacing system add support for all-day climbs on ice and rock.

Bottom Line: The Scarpa Women’s Summit GTX Mountaineering Boot helps you get to the top.

Most comfortable mountaineering boot I've tried

On climbing trips in which you're hiking in at least 45 minutes with ropes and packs, you need something that wont' kill your feet before you get to the climb. These are the ticket. True to size, a bit more room around the heel than I'd prefer but I bought a shim from a ski shop that fills that space. Great to climb in, great to hike in. Love 'em.

Women's size - you don't have much. Do you have snow shoes with inner boot. Do crampons fit on both? Which crampon suitable for Mt Elbrus and Mont Blanc?

I don't know how Scarpa fits (especially their female boots--I'm a guy), but I know that my normal shoe size is 41 or 41.5 yet all three pairs of my La Sportiva mountaineering boots are 42. This size isn't too big for my foot, but it gives me slightly more flexibility to use sock-layering systems which are a very good idea for extended outdoor excursions (espcially mountaineering). Are there no stores anywhere near you that sell Scarpa so that you could at least get an idea how that brand fits your foot?
I don't know the temperature ranges found on those two mountains you listed. Black Diamond Sabretooth crampon is a great all-around step-in mountaineering crampon that can handle ice as well. The regular Black Diamond Contact Strap crampon is also very versatile and uses straps (no toe or heel bail required on the boots) in case you want to use it with non-mountaineering boots or even regular winter boots for non-technical terrain.
As for double boots, those generally are unisex. Both La Sportiva and Scarpa sell multiple models of varying weight, warmth and performance. I have La Sportiva Spantiks which are amazingly light and warm but are ridiculously expensive and stiffer to walk in that a lot of double boots. I but I love them dearly.

Comfort, warmth, sturdiness and support

By:

I wanted a mountaineering boot that was versatile enough to ice climb in but still comfortable enough to not suffer on long, challenging approaches or climbing 14-ers in summer OR winter. So, you're going to have to sacrifice some stiffness for comfort and dexterity in the ankle of this boot (ankle is NOT super-stiff but still supportive) My first ice climb in these boots involved a 1.5 hour hour approach up a snowy boulder field, followed by a 3-pitch climb that lasted several hours (3 of us climbing on a single rope), followed by a strenous downclimb after topping out and walking off at the top of the ice falls. My feet, which are always ALWAYS cold, stayed warm and comfortable. No hotspots or pressure points. I normally wear a women's size 8-8.5, and ended up with a size 40 in these boots because I wanted room for my orthotics. Very happy with the boots--I have a pair of Scarpa AT ski boots too, so I'm a huge fan of their products. Those Italians know how to make footwear.
