Spirit Alpine Touring Boot

Designed specifically for the Ski Trab TR2 binding, the Scarpa Spirit Alpine Touring Boot strikes a balance between efficiency on the up, and performance on the down. Being the three buckle option of the Spirit line, this boot is the slightly softer option for those seeking more comfort on the up. Weighing only about three pounds per boot, and with thirty-nine degrees of cuff rotation in walk mode, they will definitely increase efficiency on the skin track. But where the Spirit was really meant to shine was on the decent. The initial concept behind the TR2 system was to provide the skier more control over their ski with a softer boot than traditional tech bindings offered. For this reason the Spirit sports a relatively soft 95 flex, but when used in conjunction with the TR2 binding will deliver the power of a stiffer boot. 

Taking Scarpa's same tried and true technology, the Spirit features two Zeus buckles, as well as the Predator HRS instep strap for maximum heel hold. A Power strap provides further rigidity, and the Axial Alpine closure system wraps the foot in a secure way for confidence on the descent. The forward lean is adjustable between 15 to 19 degrees, and a lugged Vibram sole keeps your footing secure on the final push to the summit.
