Run from your house to the park and around the lake with your feet in the fast and light Scarpa Raptor Trail Running Shoe. The dual-density molded EVA midsole absorbs the impact of sidewalks and streets along the way to the park. Once you get on the lake trail, the TPU Crossbow stabilizes your rear foot to prevent ankle rolls and sprains while the Trail Plate flexes enough to ensure an effortless but supported stride. The Raptor’s sticky rubber Trail-Speed outsole grips and prevents a tumble into the murky water. On the return lap, your feet stay cool and fresh thanks to the breathable nylon mesh upper.
Bottom Line: Running with dinosaur arms not recommended.

Good for a softer trail shoe

I was happy to find a trail runner that came in a 48 (I wear a 13 or 14 depending on the brand/shoe) these fit really well for me. The sole is not as stiff as other trail runners, and not barefoot soft, so if you need a stiff shoe look at some of the others (I think the Epic has a stiffer plate despite having the same outsole).
Pros: Very airy (great summer shoe)
Fit Narrower feet
Good looking (IMO)
Good trail running traction
Cons: Not stiff enough to hike long distance with a heavy pack
Lots of mesh lets water or dust inside easily
Love the comfort and support

Bought these for my boyfriend, actually 2 pairs, who works on his feet all day. He loves the comfort and support they provide all day. Plus they have nice arch support, which can be hard to find, but makes all the difference. He would recommend them to anyone looking for a great all around pair of shoes. They run true to size.
