Get It Before Labor Day Weekend—Order With Free 2-Day*by 5pm MT 9/2/15

Even the best bindings are made to release sometimes, so be ready for it.

Add the Scarpa NTN Ski Brake to your super-bomber NTN Freeride telemark binding so you don’t have to watch your fat ski slide down a two-thousand foot face and into the trees to be lost forever. These boot-activated brakes work like normal alpine ski brakes, so you can throw your annoying leashes into the growing pile of gear in your garage. Select the 95mm or 110mm brake to fit your ski’s width underfoot.

what size?

I have a 112 waisted DPS Wailer. Do i get 110 and bend it, or 125. Will the 125 stick out over the sidewalls when the binding is engaged?

Responded on

I'd go 110mm and bend them. I got 95mm brakes to work on my 97mm waisted skis with no problem.

Wow! What a brake.

What do you say about a ski brake? I needed a wider brake then what was included with the bindings. I have bd justice skis with a claimed width under foot of 111. These brakes fit perfect. I thunk it's silly the brake that is sold with the binding is so narrow (90mm I think).

Bigger is better

I'm so glad that Rottefella made 125 mm brakes for this year. Even though the brakes stretch easily when done in a binding that is mounted, it sucked having to stretch the brakes between two different width skis. The new 125 mm will take car of it all so I don't even have to stretch any brakes anymore.

Has anyone tried these (bending or otherwise)...

Has anyone tried these (bending or otherwise) on a big fatty? I have 192 cm Drifters that are allegedly 128 MM underfoot and wonder if it's worth trying to retrofit. Not that I need this setup to be any heavier than it already is!

Responded on

There is also a 125mm brake available. That would work best but it looks like Backcountry is sold out.

I have tried and broken them I have them set up on a pair of Rossi System 7 skis . I got them to work but dont eef on them or they will snap...
