Totally impressed with these shoes... I've had them for two years and are my "go to" shoes. Very light and very durable. I've done several hikes in these shoes, but my most impactful trip was to Spruce Knob in WV. Wife and I chose a weekend to hit 3 highpoints and ended on a 20 mile hike to the top of Spruce Knob and back down. It was a very wet trail with numerous large rocks and obstacles. Couldn't believe it when I took my Scarpa's off and my feet were dry. Not the best for steep, wet, slippery descents, but then again, what is? Been very happy with this shoe's quality. Thanks Scarpa.

I have only had these shoes for 24 hours, but I do have initial impressions. (I have many other Scarpa shoes/boots) These do not seem as substantial as the other Scarpa products, and I was surprised to see that this shoe is made in China rather than Italy or Romania as are the others I have. They lack the support of the others and would be best suited as a sneaker rather than as a hiker. The eyelets are stitched (white yarn), and I wonder how long this will last before fraying. Some eyelets are not tightly stitched. They are very comfortable however, and I hope they will hold up well.
