Injection-molded EVA makes the midsole shockingly absorptive for hundreds of off-road miles. The heel-toe offset is a moderate 8mm to oblige all genres of gaits. Regardless of how you run, the 1.2mm H-EVA Strike Plate safeguards your sole against the woes of sharp rock shards or bruising tree roots. High-density sticky rubber on the bottom is nice but the 4.5mm-deep lugs and angular lugs are what prevent you from sporting a flank-full of scree scrapes.
