Description

Hit the grid.

Roll through rugged mountain trails like they're sidewalks in the city when you're wearing the Saucony Women's ProGrid Xodus 3.0 Trail Running Shoe. Saucony engineers added multiple levels of dynamic cushioning, a sole that grips the trail with Kung-Fu-like authority, and a low heel-to-toe offset so your foot rolls easily through each foot strike on the ground.
  • HydraMAX Collar Lining offers superior moisture-wicking properties so your feet feel cooler and drier
  • The midsole’s Heel ProGrid cushion and full-length EVA foam provide protection from repeated impacts
  • The External Bedrock Outsole is a board between the midsole and treads which adds stability so the ground feels smooth as you glide over it
  • Vibram Trek outsole provides excellent grip over changing trail conditions and is patterned to perform on uphill and downhill sections
  • Pro-Lock system integrates the laces directly to the midsole, which creates a comfortable, solid fit that doesn’t budge on uneven terrain
  • A breathable Ortholite footbed, textile lining, and mesh upper deter sweat build-up and help prevent blisters
  • The gusseted tongue keeps out twig and stone hitchhikers
  • The Xodus is also compatible with a trail-running gaiter (sold separately) so you can keep mud out of your shoe as you explore new terrain

These shoes do the trick if you're looking for some neutral support and lots of padding under the foot.

Me? I prefer a zero drop and more proprioception. I tried these shoes but found that they severely aggravated my hammer toe, because they were so padded that I was not able to properly engage my arches while walking.

I ended up being MUCH happier with the Merrel Pace Glove!
