Greet the street every morning with quick, strong strides that are supported by the lightweight Saucony ProGride Guide 4 Running Shoe. You can pick up momentum and get your day started right thanks to the multi-layered construction, which provides a great mix of cushioning and support that helps compensate for overpronation and prevent injury.
Breathable mesh upper and Hydrator lining wicks moisture and vents the hot, dingy air out so you can run without getting blisters
Comfortride footbed wicks moisture and features odor-resistance to keep the Guide 4 fresh after long runs
The ProGrid heel cushion, Super Rebound Compound (SRC) forefoot pad, dual-density Impulse EVA midsole, and SRC Impact Zone provide a smooth transfer of energy throughout each stride
Mid-foot Support Bridge ensures stability and a higher arch structure so you’re not running on a floppy piece of rubber that does nothing to support your foot
A carbon rubber XT-900 outsole in the heel and blown rubber in the forefoot grip the blacktop, sidewalk, or trail so you can concentrate on your breathing and not your footing
Bottom Line: A stable, lightweight, and tough shoe for countless morning runs.
These are great shoes for everyday running. They are made for mild pronation, so not a true stability shoe, but do offer some extra support. The rubber on the sole is very strong. I put 1,000 miles on the previous version of this shoe, the Guide 3. Highly recommended!
I love this shoe. I've gone through 3 or 4 different runners in the past year and this is my favorite. The grid (for which the shoe is named) has plenty of stability while remaining flexible, it has just enough stability for my mild pronation, and they just plain feel light on my feet. My feet also seem much more secure in the heel of these shoes than other models/brands I've tried. One note, the toe box is a little smaller than some other brands so keep that in mind when choosing a size. If between sizes, you may wanna go up.

I owned the ProGrid Guide 3's and they served me well for 750+ miles and 4 years. They are rated as 80% road, 20% trail, and thats probably how I used them. They held up well for everything and provided great stability. I upgraded to the Omni 9 for more stability, but looking back, I liked my Guide 3's better. Right now they seem to be available everywhere on sale, so I'd pick one up if you're looking for a long-lasting, stable shoe!
This shoe is very comfortable - not as much heel cushioning as I'm used to, but comfy nonetheless. Upon my first 6 mile run in these shoes, they developed a tear in the material over the toe area. The mesh is very thin - not durable enough for a reputable brand.
As a beginner runner I needed something to help with lower leg pain. This shoe (with insoles, strength training and ice) fit the bill. A nice combination of stability and cushion. Nice smooth heel-toe transition. Work fine for the occasional off-road run too. These lock my heel in place much better than some other brands, but that might not be the case for you.
