love these kicks. Super comfortable, more low profile than most sidewalk surfers which have the larger soles. I get lots of compliments. I've been wearing them waiting tables allot, and they're holding up well after putting lots of miles on them.

1 thing of note: the shoes are darker than the images on backcountry look. Its not too dramatic, but If you want to get a good idea of what the actual color is, do a google search and check some other sites. then come back to backcountry and buy em here, this site rules.

These Sanuks wear much better than my old Kerouacs, which after nearly 2 years of regular abuse were finally wasted by my dog. These Sanuks are much better as they do not have an over sized sole(as Sidewalk Surfers do) which was breaking down at the front from impacts with sidewalk breaks, stairs and the like. The laces and construction are an improvement on just slip-ons like the sidewalk surfers. Also, is it bit narrower in the toe and heel than sidewalk surfers. Bottom Line + Comfortable, Well-Made & Damn Cool
