What are the effects if these get wet? we cool?

If these get wet, they results in a certain wet feeling between the toes...

The strap is a hemp cloth and the footbed is lined with hemp cloth, so they'll be wet and stay wet a while. Probably have to let them dry in the sun or overnight.
