This particular version sports Santa Cruz's top-shelf "CC" carbon lay-up, which delivers robust strength and stiffness alongside lightweight efficiency, weighing some 280 grams less than their base C-level carbon. The Stigmata CC Cyclocross Fork uses this same high-end carbon for uncompromising stiffness and strength when you need it most.

Thoroughly modern geometry places the Stigmata Carbon CC within the realm of high-end 'cross bikes, with a 72 degree head angle, 69mm bottom bracket drop, and 73.5 degree seat angle (based on 56cm model). However, that's not to say it's not confident and composed grinding out long stretches on gravel backgrounds or exploring light-duty singletrack. It accepts up to 41mm tires, allowing you to drop the pressure (especially with the use to tubeless tires) for a more comfortable ride through rougher terrain. Conversely, it works great with skinnier road tires, should you desire a commuter or daily driver for around-town rides.

Thru-axles at the front and rear add poise and confidence for better tracking across rutted-out backroads and gravel-strewn surfaces.
