Description

The top of the all-mountain food chain

If an 'all-mountain bike' is one that climbs and descends with equal and uncompromising aggression, then the standard must be the Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon. The Nomad’s Fox DHX RC4 shock provides just over six inches of cushion and features rebound, high-speed compression, low-speed compression, preload, bottom-out progressiveness and bottom-out force adjustments for a totally custom feel and a personalized ride that rips exactly the way you want it to. The Nomad’s carbon fiber front triangle is incredibly strong and light thanks to a one-piece layup that eliminates the need for extra carbon wrapping around junction points. The one-piece layup benefits extend to all other pieces of the bike as well—shock mounts, dropouts, disc and ISCG05 tabs, and cable stops. And all are part of the layup, not merely bonded on, so Santa Cruz is able to achieve unbelievable strength in traditionally weak areas while actually reducing the amount of material in the frame construction.
