Chameleon D Complete Mountain Bike - 2015

Born in the mountains of California, the Chameleon D Complete Mountain Bike from Santa Cruz begins with a build that is designed with versatility in mind. It includes the perfectly suited 130mm RockShox Sektor Gold RL Solo Air, which balances the position a 100mm gives you with a more aggressive stability of a 150mm fork.

The frame itself is oversized 6066 aluminum tubing. Not only does the larger tubing mean more stiffness, especially in the rear triangle, it also means that the walls are thinner, which equates to lighter tubing. Lighter means faster and the Chameleon allows you to brag a little on the trails you previously rode around.

The groupset of the Chameleon is a combination of Shimano’s tried-and-proven Deore and SLX with a SRAM front derailleur. The WTB rims feature Maxxis rubber, a favorite of the pros, and SRAM hubs for smooth rolling. Finishing off the ride are Race Face stem, handlebars, and seatpost, and you’ll sit on a WTB Volt saddle.
