The sleek Salomon Z12 Ti Ski Binding is a lightweight, low-profile binding that doesn't settle for anything less than bomber strength and performance. Titanium construction shaves weight and is ultra-durable while the automatic wing adjustment system allows you to quickly adjust your binding to your boot, eliminate slop, premature release, or unwanted retention. It's designed to offer high levels of lateral power transmission, too, making it ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers who ride wider powder and freeride skis.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Purchased the Z12 this December to replace the Z10 which were originally mounted on my skis the season before. Z12 Broke in the same rear plastic shroud (which makes the binding unstable) within 2 months. Am now going through the seller to try a warranty... I was informed that Salomon doesn't directly deal with their customers. WOW! Skis = great, binding junk.

Unanswered Question

Would these be recommended for a 3+ level skier for powder boards? I like the fact that they are light but concerned about durability and performance vs a STH12. I'm only 150lbs but am an expert skier (50 yr old).

Will the 90 mm size fit the new Volkl Mantra (waist 100 mm). Was told that the 90 would fit 90-100 mm, but wanted to confirm. Thank you.

Hey calaxer191099418,

It would be a very close fit if you were to get the 90mm brake size. You're able to bend the brakes out a little without losing any integrity but 5mm on each side might be pushing it. I would recommend contacting your local shop if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself.
