These are a fine ski for an intermediate skiing only groomers. I gave them a shot hoping to have something for hard pack days in between storms. They hold an edge fine, but aren't responsive enough when pushed hard. I also found them terrible off piste. I felt like I was back on my old 200cm straight skis. I would give them usage split of 95% piste/5% off-piste. Even if you want a groomer only ski, I think you could find something better than these for the price.

Shorter would be better biut you better check these out. They are for strong skiers. Not sure about intermediate. Not sure how forgiving these wil be. When you say something they do it!

I demod these skis in Colorado this week. Like the finest European sports car the way it handles speed and maneuvers. Get strapped in on these babies. I skied them on a dump day in about 8" of fresh powder. They did ok but I got pushed around in them some. They were great in moguls though. Definitely a fine piece of equipt. I chose another pair that I thought were better off piste to buy. But after some great service from NAte at backcountry I couldn't resist and had to buy the last pair they had in my size. You'll love them but best for nom intermediates as they are very subtle.
