Shoes definitely run a size small. I wear size 8 in all my other Salomon shoes but have to order a size 9 in these.

I highly doubt any online or even local shops will carry that large of a size. I recommend contacting Salomon directly.

Most Comfortable Trail Running Shoes

These are simply the most comfortable shoes I have ever run in. My XT Wings, Speedcross 2 and XA Pro trail shoes are now sitting on a shoe rack in my garage collecting dust. Last month (Sept 2010), I completed both the Kauai Marathon and Maui Marathon while wearing these bad boys. It is a bit bright and flashy (easily remedied by going on a nice long run on dirt and dusty trails), and I was referred to by a few of my fellow runners during the Maui Marathon as "FireShoes" but I didn't care. From the 80-90 degree heat and high humidity on the paved roads of Kauai and Maui, to the cooler but steeper dirt and rocky trails of Mt Tam and Marin Headlands near San Francisco, these shoes performed flawlessly. Absolutely no blisters or hotspots unlike my run during the San Francisco Marathon back in July 2010 when I started getting blisters around mile 15 while wearing my Asics GT-2150. I probably could have minimized the problem by re-tying my shoes but I didn't want to stop mid-race. Anyway, I plan on wearing the S-lab3 during the North Face Endurance Challenge Ultramarathon in early December. Now for the downside... other than its flashy colors, the S-lab3 are a bit on the expensive side and they seem to wear out more quickly than my other Salomons. My recommendation would be to wait for the elusive 20% off discount coupon offer from Backcountry (hint: it sometimes pays off to follow them on twitter) and buy in bulk! :-)

This shoe may run on the expensive side but they are well worth it! I have had the speed cross 2 and I was wearing the wings XT (the bulkier heavier twin to the S-Lab) but the s-lab smokes them all. I run on a mixture of cinder, dirt trail and road and these bad boys can handle it all. I can see why the elite Salomon runners prefer them. They did run a half size to small so I returned them and no issues what so ever.

I’ve been training in these shoes for nearly three weeks and up to this point, they are undoubtedly the most confortable shoe I have ever worn. Though I am a novice, I enjoy running adventure races so I find it difficult to find a shoe that meets all the various conditions a single race can throw at you. I run on everything from pavement to trails to open fields and dense forests. Again, I’ve only been running in these bad boys for three weeks but to this point, they are a perfect five. I will tell you that I’ve done a lot of research and even tested many different brands but these tend to run a bit on the small side. Consider ordering one full size larger than normal if you’re looking at true adventure races (16 hours or greater) to allow for swelling in your feet. If you’re looking at sprint or endurance racing (4-16 hours) a half size should be fine. I hope this helps and though these shoes aren’t cheap, I view it as a small price to pay for good health and comfort while your beating the crap out of your body.

Only ran a bit in them but there comfy right out of the box,have good support and the quicklace is awsome!!

The shoes are so comf theyre like sleeping in kim kardashians booty. The shoes are so narley people want me to stop wearing them on my feet and wear yhem as a wedding ting and every hot girl that sees them asks me to marry her... no lie.
