XADV 89 Grip Ski

With a Posigrip waxless base and 60mm waist, the XADV 89 lets you break trail through the woods and up into the hills. Out there where you're going, there are sure to be some downhill sections that would make those nordic racers and fitness gurus wet their spandex, but not you; generous sidecut and full-length steel edges let you look forward to those descents.

The XADV 89 is all about fresh air, fresh snow, and free spirit. Salomon gave it Grip and Turn construction, knowing that it isn't going to spend a ton of time in groomed tracks or on corduroy. A light and responsive Densowood core is made with a combination of foam, wood, and tri-directional fiberglass laminate. This low-profile, wide core bears a resemblance to an alpine ski core and is built for off-piste adventures. Race Universal grinding is a low-pressure stone grind for fast glide in a wide variety of snow conditions.
