Shorter and an unexpected design

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I don't know if there are two design/ lengths but I got the corona yellow color and the inseam seems to be about 4 inches (the other shorts pictured seem to be much longer and it is listed at 7.9 but it is not near this long). Also, instead of having a tighter brief inside the shorts and a baggy outer section, the tighter "support" of the shorts is connected to the inside of the thighs and thus to get any support they ride up and show off what a more immature man would call a "bulge". This makes them comfortable while running but looks ridiculous while walking around the gym or stopping in a store. Overall I got these to run and they work well for that but my wife laughs at me when I walk around in them.

XA is a win

This product is dynamite. Perfect length inseam and nice weight to the shorts. I like the cut of these as they are a little more form fitted than some of the baggier shorts on the market today. Medium is a true medium so I am guessing the sizing in both polarities are right on the money.

    Best Shorts Ever

I bought my first pair of XA shorts in 2002 or 2003. They are as good today as when I bought them. I was thrilled to learn Salomon was still making them. The good stuff: Exceptionally durable. My original pair has been worn probably 300 times - training, adventure racing, mountain biking, kayaking... still without stain or tear. The elastic continues to hold, the internal compression short still compresses. I can't say enough good things. Just bought three more pairs.
      The bad stuff:
      Enough said!
