Salomon XA Pro 2 Trail Running Shoe - Women's - 2004 BCS

Incredibly comfortable and versatile shoe. This is my second pair! I like the quick lace up system, the breathability and the shock absorption of the sole. I used them for trail running, city running, and mountain biking (no laces to get in the chain).
I highly recommend these shoes and everything of the Salomon XA Pro line.

Love my new XA Pro Trail shoes. I only do trail runs, and it’s lightweight with good support and not too stiff. I love the laces, easy and stay put. Rocks and stuff don't get into the shoe while running. Great shoe!

These are great shoes. This is my third pair since they introduced them. For some reason these are a 1/2 size too big. Consider that when ordering.

I really love this shoe and am on my third pair. It is the ONLY running shoe that I wear. I use it for both street and trail running. The stability and comfort are first class. It has really been a great shoe for me. And, not having to worry about your laces coming un-tied on a run is also very cool. My praises to Salomon for making such a great women's running shoe.

What a great shoe and very cool looking. Ran the first leg of the Lake Tahoe Relay last weekend and the shoes were great both on and off pavement. I'll still run in my favorite New Balance shoes but I'll alternate with a pair of Salomons. The BackcountryStore has wonderful prices, service and quick standard delivery. This shoe is at home on the trail and on the road. It's lightweight, supportive and breatheable. Great for any trail distance and adventure racing. Love the quick lace system.

These shoes perform well in heat and cold conditions. I used them to run the Golden Leaf Half Marathon from Snowmass to Aspen Colorado. The trail is filled with water crossings, rocks and steep up and downhill grades. These shoes were the perfect fit for these extreme trail conditions. I'm psyched to use them in the snow this winter! I really like the x-pro it has a good snug fit, but lots of room in the toe box without creating those little ugly toe nails. It handles well in rocky terrain as well as sand and packed trails. I run 80-100mpwk in them and get about 2 months of wear. Then when they retire, I use them as a light hiker. I consider them my best choice in trail running shoes.

Great shoes, they are nice and airy because of the mesh and they give good support and traction.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I now have one for the gym and one to wear outdoors. I have never found anything more comfortable because I hate shoes!!! But these are great. I hope they keep making them.

I've bought my wife a couple pairs of these over the years. She absolutely loves them. Super stable, light, and fits her mid-volume foot perfectly. Try on Adidas running shoes for fit if you can't find Salomons in your area. She tried the Gore-Tex XCR version but likes the breathability of the non-Gore shoes better.

Finally a shoe I can wear all day to walk, run or work in the yard and have no back pain! My Salomon shoes offer perfect support and flexibility. My only regret is that I didn't have them years ago!

This shoe has good support and a short break-in period. I like the quick pull lacing system. The multi-layer mesh provides for great ventilation during summer runs. Size down 1/2 size from normal shoe size.
