Let the Ski Day Begin. Salomon's X Wave series revolutionized the alpine ski boot world by providing awesome performance without compromising fit and comfort. The X Wave 8.0's Sensifit technology uses a softer plastic in the shell for easy exit/entry, and a Customfit Pro Liner with a reinforced ankle and heel pocket to secure the foot and facilitate transmission of energy from edge to edge. A polar fleece lining in the forefoot provides extra warmth and an anatomically sculpted tongue reduces shin bang. Salomon traditionally fits people with mid to wider feet, and the 8.0 is no exception. It has a generous toe box and average fit through the arch with a glove-like fit around the Achilles to lock down the heel. The Salomon X Wave 8.0 will keep the advanced to expert all-mountain skier warm and comfortable during a day on the slopes. It has a medium-stiff flex that lends plenty of power to the edges when carving hard and just enough flex to stop you from getting your weight kicked back in bumps and powder.

Haven't had a chance to ski them yet but they fit very comfortably out of the box. My second pair of Salomon's due to my large forefoot. Love em so far. Very easy to get in and out of yet I'm expecting the same great performance. Wow price! BC.com rocks!

so i put in a solid 120+ this season(skiing and boarding combined) and this boots absolutely killed it. they are so comfortable i could barely tell when i had to switch from board to skis at lunch...felt like i was in my board boots still. these boots were well worth the price i paid for em...and now that they're below $170 if you don't buy these you crazy. if you don't need a pair right now...you will soon. thanks for the killer deals bc

I bought the boots, took them out of the box, and went skiing. They fit perfectly, and I was able to ski in them for five days with out any discomfort. Skied a lot of steep runs and the boot lived up to the hype. Fist Salomon boot I have ever bought and love it!!!!!

Wore these a day before I skied with them. First boot from Salomon, and one of the only boots to fit my wide foot. Very responsive for an 85 flex boot. Spaceframe 'honeycombs' look pretty badass too.
