The Salomon X-Adventure 7 Backcountry Boot is warm, supportive and ready for a burly day of backcountry touring. Its articulated free-flex heel has a stiff lateral support to increase control on the downhill and a soft forward flex so you can tour with ease. Thinsulate insulation keeps your feet warm on chilly January dawn patrols, and the thermo-formed heel locks your foot securely in place to prevent heel lift. Perfect for use with Salomon BC skis, the X-Adventure 7 is at home on long traverses and descents. The Salomon X-Adventure 7 Backcountry Boot is only compatible with SNS BC bindings.

A great fit....very comfortable! The sturdy design and ankle
support allow for all day ski runs. Lightweight, but warm enough to be
the only footwear during winter camping.

As a decades-long XC-skier, these boots are everything I expected and more - nice touch with the lace cinch feature. Warm and comfortable once I got my size right - thanks to Backcountry's quick response in exchanging my original order.
