Not named after the Texas Ranger, the Salomon Women's Walker Shoes are softshell hikers that breathe like crazy during vigorous treks through the hills. The uppers resist water while letting plenty of fresh air flow to your feet, and they feel flexible yet supportive. Asymmetrical lacing gives this shoe an ergonomic fit with reduced pressure points. Salomon constructed the Walker using 3D padding, strategically placing foam where your foot needs it. This creates a cushy step and a more customized fit. The SCS chassis dissolves heel-strike impact and helps correct pronation, while Ortholite sockliners control moisture and odor.

Not only are they comfortable, which is most important, but they are also stylish for hiking shoes. Can't beat the price either.
I am interested in purchasing a pair of the womens Salomon Softshell
I am interested in purchasing a pair of the womens Salomon Softshell hiking shoes. I normally wear a 7.5 I was wondering if these run small in size or large? My foot measures 3 3/4inches wide at the ball of the foot and 9 3/4inches in length. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

bought this for my sister on her b-day since she started doing some weekend mountain biking i noticed when the trail goes downhill on a singletrack after a climb she always gets off her bike usually does the hiking down with her bike..overall she loves it with the quicklace non hassle she just loves my gift..lol cant beat the price here in BC loving it with good costumer service
