Very light weight. Good for hiking here in the desert. Pockets are mesh, allowing even more air flow. Side pocket on leg zips and rear pockets have a flap with velcro. There's also a drawstring inside, but I don't see it being useful. Maybe if I drop 10 pounds.

Not that this really matters, but i just got these pants, and in the picture by the right cargo pocket there are little design things. They are definately not on the pants, they feel great can't wait to hike and climb in them though.
