If your permanent record documents summers at Mt Hood, and long winter in the park and on the city stairways, then you'll wanna get thick as thieves with Salomon's jib-happy Suspect Ski. Slated as Sammy Carlson's go-to jib-stick, the Suspect hang tough all season long on a perfectly poppy full wood core, Edge Armor-reinforced double-wide edges, and shock-absorbing Pulse Pad. Get rad, go big, or keep it Hyfy--regardless, the Suspect Ski is in.

  • Full Wood Core--butter-tastic flex pattern, and ski-park-all-year-long durability
  • Sandwich sidewall construction stand up to abuse on rails and urban features
  • Traditional camber profile offers familiar, dependable edge performance.

Bottom Line: Guilty of inducing beater stare-sessions.

How small-person friendly are these? I am 5'3 100lbs, my concern is that the 161 will be too stiff and burly for me to pop onto high rails and spin fast. Will this happen?

My son is 12.5. He skis allmountain but is also trying out the park. Would this ski be appropriate ? If not which would you recommend?

I would not reccomend these if he likes skiing all mountain. I find these to be strictly park but it all depends on his style. I would reccomend a pair of Armada El Ray's. I currently have them and they perform so well. I ski at Vail CO and they hold up everywhere. I have the bindings center mounted which is ideal for park but still offers great performance all over the mountain. He might have a little bit of trouble in tight moguls but it only takes a couple of runs to get the feel for it. Hope this helps!

it all depends how tall he is really and his weight? If he is like 5 2 and 105 he could ski this if he is a small guy go check out some kid park skis he would love those to.

These are not reverse camber...traditional camber means that the ski has full edge contact on firm snow all the time. I think that is what you are asking...? please let me know.
