STH2 WTR 13 Ski Binding

Drive your sticks with the freeride-oriented Salomon STH2 WTR 13 Binding and experience a responsive, precise, powerful, and confidence-inspiring feel. With a maximum DIN of 13, this version of the STH2 WTR is more suitable for lighter-weight skiers than its beefier sibling, the STH2 WTR 16. The toe is endowed with tons of elastic travel, which allows your boot to move within the binding to prevent prerelease, and has a 3D design that works to dampen shock on landings. Both toe and heel are built on an oversized low-profile platform that's specifically designed to drive wider skis, and integrated progressive transfer pads ensure a smooth, damp ride. Its larger wings at the toe mean more efficient power transfer, especially on your widest set of sticks. Best of all, the STH2's WTR compatibility means it can be skied with Walk-to-Ride boots as well as classic alpine soles, so all you have to do is show up to the mountain and be ready to rip.

Best in class

Salomon makes the best bindings. The most toe elasticity in any binding. Releases when you need it to.

Trusty and Sturdy

These bindings are the only in-bounds binding I trust. After having used other brands in the past, these Salomon STH2 bindings are second to none. For me the weight of these bindings gives me the confidence to make hard charging turns down the fall line without worry of pre-releasing.

Durable bindings - make me feel safe

I have these bindings on my Nordica Enforcer 100s and have put this pair through the wringer. I typically ski Mt. Baker and Stevens Pass here in WA where we can get pretty deep and heavy snow. They are very durable, and feel very strong, safe, and reliable. Sleek, clean look to them too and look great on my skis.

When performance really matters

I've skied on a version of this binding for most of my life. There is a reason it hasn't changed much over all those years - it just works really well. There is a feeling of security you feel when you click into that Salomon heel piece. you know you are in and it feels solid. Confidence is key on skis and this is the binding that gives me that.
