Salomon reinforced the toe and heel of the STH Binding to answer new school freeriders and freestylers' demand for a burly binding. Salomon also built a stomp pedal (a pad under your toes) into the STH to reduce vibration at high speed and take a bit of the impact away from tough landings. With a DIN of 4 to 12, the STH will satisfy everyone from progressing freeriders to solid park and pipe experts.
Bottom Line: The Salomon S.T.H.—as in, Stomp The Hell out of your tricks with this binding.

I prefer the PX 12's, but mostly they are the same. The elastic heel travel in the Looks is a nice feature in the park too.

Haven't found on thing wrong with them all season. I love that they are light. I will only ride Salomon bindings.
i'm 145 lbs and 6"2 would this be a good Binding for

Any binding will work with you and your ARV's. If you ski aggressively, or want better hold in the park, you can look at a binding with a higher DIN range, maybe up to 14 or 15. 12 is good for most things though, but if you plan to set at 11 or 12, you need a higher range, because it is not recommended that you set you bindings at the top of the range.

These bindings look as awesome as they hold you in your skiis. The first time I snapped into these bindings,they felt super solid and held me in like cement. They are fairly light weight as well. A great Buy

Umm, Im pretty sure most/all Alpine ski bindings have a little fore-aft play in the heel pieces. When mounting them, you have to adjust the fore/aft tension for the specific boot sole length using the tab under the heel piece. The travel is down to the scale of mm, but it is there.

I skied on these bindings all of 3 days. 1st day, I pre-released on an icy, steep and completely wind buffed (NO bumps) pitch. I walked right out of them when I initiated a turn. So I cranked the dins. The next day was a powder day and again I walked right out of them. The pre-release wasn't accompanied by the ski flex that causes pre-releasing...just an open field. 3rd day I was too pre-occupied with my bindings so I retired them.
This will be my 3rd set of bindings that I will be sending back to Salomon. My last two pairs I had to send back because the toe piece adjustments just wouldn't hold. I've been a Salomon fan since the 80s (why my loyalty) but something has happened to the quality. I'm done.

Yeah for sure. 90mm means that you can fit a ski up to about 89mm in it.

I have only skied about 10 days with these, but thought it necessary to write a review quickly. I have the black version and I can't tell you how many comments I got about how sick they look. More importantly, they are solid, great bindings. The binding seems to ease the vibrations one would normally feel at high speeds. Landing is without a doubt more comfortable. All-in-all great binding and I would recommend these to everyone.
