Aggressive riding encouraged.

You really don't want your ski popping off when you're 20 feet off the deck, lining up a cliff, or mobbing down the hill at face-melting speeds, which is why the Salomon STH 12 Oversize Ski Binding is a hit with aggressive riders who are looking for durable binding with solid retention and release capabilities. With a DIN that goes up to 12, the STH 12 is suitable for park, frontside, and big-mountain riding, with a low-profile chassis that's designed to work with wide skis and automatic toe height and wing adjustments that take the hassle out of getting your clamps dialed in. Bomber retention, consistent release, and plenty of performance—that's the STH 12's whole deal.

  • DIN 4-12
  • Low-profile chassis
  • XL Stomp Pedal
  • Automatic wing and toe height adjustment

Here's what others have to say...

Are the STH binding really that bad? I have talked to four different ski shops in NJ about the binding. They all seem to like it. I will mount them on a pair of Blizzard Gun Smoke powder skis 186.
If not these what binding for 114mm under foot.

Responded on

I have them on a pair of Nordica Patrons 113mm underfoot. They work fine. No complaints.

Yes Rick, they are literally that bad. I've had several bad falls because of this bindings tendency to pre-release at the worst possible moments. See gaelin's review below of his broken bone––that should be more than enough confirmation to stay the hell away from these things.

These bindings broke my femur

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bindings pop out when they shouldn't and don't pop out when you need them too. I have two pairs of these and they are the worst bindings anyone could buy. Only buy these if you want to break a major bone like me

These bindings broke my femur

DUDE! So sorry about your injury. Completely agree about how terrifyingly awful these bindings are.

Broken femur because of these bindings

Broken femur because of these bindings

these bindings pop out when you don't want them to and don't pop out when you need them too, broke my femur because of them when one of them popped out when they shouldn't of and the other One didn't pop out when i needed it to twisting my leg around and breaking my femur. Salomon is a terrible company and these bindings are they're worst product. No one should ever consider buying these.

The Shittiest Ski Binding of All Time

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got these mounted on my Armada JJs––man what a mistake! The Binding claims to be able to hold when popping off rocks, steeps, or hard landings. On the contrary, this is the most dangerous binding I've ever encountered, and will randomly pop off even on gentle groomers.

Get these bindings and be prepared for serious injury or death.
