Special Magnum Snowboard - Wide

Get on the Salomon Wide Special Magnum Snowboard and get off the short bus. This wide-footed directional twin does it all from the peak to the park, and since this is Josh Dirksen’s go-to whip for stormy days at Bachelor it feels extra special. Salomon’s ERA 3D core profile makes the Special lightweight and lively at slower speeds, and when you crank up the speed this board remains stable, responsive, and stomp-worthy. Want more torque? Of course you do. Salomon added an integrated torque control layer so you can pull bigger G-forces without ejecting, and seeing as you’re no stranger to riding hard Salomon also threw in T-ABS sidewalls.

Bottom Line: The Salomon Wide Special Magnum Snowboard ditches the short bus and gets a phatter ride.

well the sick stick is definitly a more advanced board that is made for backcountry...the skate banana is great in pow but the shape of the board and style of edges will make it hard to learn on and not very forgiving. out of the three boards you named...this board is best, good in pow but can still do everything else...and a 163 is pretty long for you seeing how i ride a 155 and we are the same weight, but since you are a little taller id suggest buying a 158-160 size

It works as described, soft at low speeds but when the speed picks up it really stiffens. Quite incredible actually! The edge really works for you during the turn so you don't have to. Nice mix between a park board, and a back country board. However, it must be noted that I rode this in some fresh pow for most of the day with a stint on the groomed stuff and in the park. It was only a stint because I felt guilty for separating this board from the pow as it performed with top marks in it. If you want a board that can do it all, salomon got it right with this one.
