Designed to keep you dry and comfortable from the resort to the Backcountry, the Soulquest's rugged nylon fabric is decked out with a waterproof and breathable three-layer Gore-Tex Pro membrane and fully taped seams to keep you dry from the outside, and has zippered underarm vents and an AdvancedSkin moisture-wicking lining to keep you from getting soggy on the inside when you're skiing hard or hiking for your turns. Salomon also built it using its MotionFit ergonomic design, which provides extra fabric where you need it and articulated sleeves for easy movement on the skin track, the bootpack, and the descent.

When the snow goes from deep to ridiculous, the Soulquest's stretchy, removable, and pants-interfacing powder skirt will keep the fluff out, with help from the adjustable helmet-compatible hood and wrist gaiters. Thumb loops prevent your sleeves from riding up and cramping your style, and the plethora of harness- and pack-compatible pockets make it easy to access snacks, skins, and tunes. There's even a camera pocket so you can take more selfies than you thought possible, and a mesh goggle pocket to keep your shades fog-free and out of the way when you're hitting the skinner.
