With a long line of World Championship gold medals behind its name to back up its reputation, the Salomon Pilot Equipe Skate Binding gives skate skiers full edge power and control. This double-axis binding transmits the highest percentage of energy possible to the ski and an instantaneous power return at the end of your kick. The Pilot Equipe binding utilizes the SNS Pilot system with a secondary mobile axis under the tip, a continuous and progressive guide ridge under the whole boot, and a rotation axis under the tip of the boot. All of this gives you the torsion control and steady ski steering you need to push your old limits.
Details
- Universal mounting allows you to mount this binding to either a SNS/NIS interface plate, which allows the use of the bvinding on NIS-equipped skis, or directly onto the topsheet of a flat ski
- An Atomic SNS binding can also be mounted onto a Wedge Plate which provides a 5mm underfoot lift. This underfoot lift gives you more room to fully angle your ski on edge when skating and it improves ski control and glide-through acceleration.
