Description

Not only that, but these Salomon boots are 100% PVC-free.

Lace up the Salomon Women’s Snowtrip TS WP Winter Boot for anything from winter camping to taking your dog out to romp in freshly fallen snow. The burly Contagrip outsole helps make sure you stay upright over icy terrain while Thinsulate insulation keeps your feet toasty warm in even the most bitter temperatures. The Snowtrip TS WP Winter Boot’s waterproof membrane blocks snow and water from creeping in so that you’ll only head inside and take these Salomon boots off when you’re good and ready—and not because your winter boots couldn’t hack the cold.

My mom loves these, I got them for her for Xmas. She says they are so warm and comfortable, true to size. She stays warm while up at her cabin playing in the snow!

Awesome boots! I have had them in 0 degrees in the snow to about that at the beach. My feet have stayed warm and dry every time. They fit perfectly with my showshoes which is what I was worried about.
The boots are not the best on ice traction wise. Still need my spikes on icy days. Other than that I am very impressed! Love the boots.

I often have slippery conditions in the winter. Looking for a warm boot that has excellent tread. How deep is the tread and would these boots be good in these conditions?

I just tried a pair if these on the other day...the mens version, and the tread is deep and quite similar to my other salomon boots. I find them pretty stable in grip on everything but that infamous loose snow covered ice

I wear a 6 in hiking boots but have a hard time fitting in Solomans because they're always too big. Nevertheless, I bought a 6 hoping they'd be ok, but ended up having to find a 5 1/2 online (backcountry doesn't carry smaller sizes). Although still a little large, the 5 1/2 is good with thicker socks. It's been a long haul to find a warm boot, my feet get very cold very quickly and these fit so well, even in the too large size and were comfortable out of the box. No issues with being stiff they're easy to lace with gloves. I'm happy that I finally have a decent boot to winter camp and snowshoe in. Backcountry rocks, even if I couldn't get it here.

I bought these boots because I recently purchased Salomon cross country ski boots and was very pleased with their fit, comfort and warmth. Also I walk every day and it's very cold and snowy here in Northern Ontario, Canada, so I needed something that was warm and wouldn't slip on the ice. Although they were stiff to begin with and need some breaking in, they are well worth the effort. I have never had such great boots on my feet. They are a good warm solid boot with plenty of ankle support and room for your toes to move around. They are also very warm. I LOVE my boots and for sure they have made my winter better. Thank you

I have Salomon trail running shoes and walking shoes that I love (for trail running and walking!) and had expected the same good experience from these boots. They are extremely stiff and uncomfortable out of the box. Fit is also very different from my other Salomons. Those run big---I have to go down almost a full size. These run closer to true size. These might be okay for standing around in the snow but you can't hike in them or walk any real distance. Also thought they would have the quick lace system and they did not, another bummer!

Write your comment here...if we are the same size i would love to buy the boot from you. I do stand in snow most of the day in construction and these are the only boot that have ever kept me warm Let me know if you want to sell!

I have read that these boots are leather, and in other descriptions synthetic leather. Does anyone know if it is synthetic or real? Thanks!

Hey San,

These boots are synthetic, not real leather

In my other pair of salomon boots I wear a 1/2 size larger than my tennis shoes. These were huge in that size, so they will have to go back. As usual this brand has a nice roomy toe box.

I bought these boots for snowshoeing in the Cascades and then used them on a Christmas trip to the Rockies. Excellent quality - they kept my feet toasty warm and dry :)
Would highly recommend them.

Salomon's always run true to size for me a size 10B. This particular style is too high and stiff on my ankle for snowshoeing and walking my dog in the Ohio snow. I am going to definately replace them with a lower cut Salomon shoe.

Originally ordered along with two other winter boots to increase my chances of finding one that worked best for hiking in cold weather conditions. While my first choice met my expectations, I couldn't return these Salomons! Attractive and light weight, these seem like the perfect "cute" but functional winter boot. Only minor concern that they might be a little too high in the ankle and therefore a little stiff for serious hiking.

I love these boots! They are light in weight but are durable, keep my feet warm and toasty and provide EXCELLENT support. I am currently looking for sneakers by the same brand name as a result!

Just bought these to do double duty - comfy travel shoe, snowshoe shoe - and LOVE them. Warm, sooooooooo light, had them out on a snowshoe five minutes after I bought them. Then tested them out on my friend's super icy, steep, driveway and no slipping.

The only down side? Maybe the new quick lace system.

Just bought these and love them. I have ladies 12 and narrow feet, and the men's 10 fit great on me. It's nice to be able to cinch them up to fit my feet, and the lace pocket tucks the strings away. The styling actually makes my feet look smaller than they are, which is saying a lot for a snow boot! Climbing the snowbank to get to my car today was a breeze, great footing with these.
