Description

Cruise the out into the wild.

Sized just right to fit within a set ski track and wide enough to float off the groomed trail, the Salomon Snowscape 7 Ski provides stability and control to beginners and those who casually tour. Whether you're just learning how to skate down the track or kick classical-style, this ski keeps things versatile and forgiving, so conquering the learning curve becomes easier with each outing.
  • Optimized Camber provides full contact grip with the snow when you kick, and releases easily so your glide is long and fast
  • D2FC (Digital Dynamic Flex Control) technology uses a digitally-controlled molding process to ensure that the pressing of the ski results in the most accurate flex-pairing
  • G2 Plus waxless base pattern and flat base balance grip and glide, perfect for those looking for versatility
  • S-Cut sidecut offers a moderate, carving-style shape and plenty of width underfoot for stability
  • Densolite 1000 core wraps lightweight and springy densolite foam with uni-directional fiberglass for torsional rigidity

I was never really into nordic skiing, but once I started taking these babies out, it really blew up!
I hardly ever start to slip when I'm kicking up a hill, and if you find the right rhythm, you can even do a bit of skate skiing with these.
I also took these on a short backcountry tour to a cabin and they did great skiing through fresh snow.
I paired these skis with Salomon's SNS Pilot Sport binding, and their Escape boots and classic skiing has never been more of a blast.

A great ski for groomed and backcountry tracks. I've used this ski in around three feet of snow and I held up and then five feet of snow and It held up.

I can't tell if this ski has metal edges...

I can't tell if this ski has metal edges or not? I assume I can get it ordered with the salomon binding as well?

No metal edges. Great ski for groomed tracks or light off-track conditions. Salomon bindings are available (http://www.backcountry.com/salomon-sns-pilot-sport-classic-binding).
