Whether you're slaying Alaskan steeps or popping pillows in BC's interior, the Salomon Women's Idol Snowboard is a hard-charging board capable of taking tricks into deep powder. The Idol blurs the line between a focused freeride deck and hard-charging freestyle weapon. In fact, you'll find its mid-stiff flex conquers the entire mountain, but really excels on steep faces and high-speed runs.

This directional twin board is slightly set-back for straight-line stability and added float, yet it still rides switch phenomenally well when you're floating backside 180s into deep powder. Its Cross Profile is predominately camber, with camber running between the binding inserts for aggressive edge hold and powerful energy transfer. Rocker outside the bindings, extending to the tip and tail, adds effortless float when you're blasting down powder-filled bowls and darting through deep tree runs.

Using Salomon's sustainable construction techniques, the Idol features ABC Green Roll, which stands for Advanced Bamboo Construction. This construction technique uses basalt stringers for burly strength with ultra-snappy bamboo strips and impact-dampening Cork sidewalls. The Ghost Green core is ultra-light and snappy, thanks to its premium wood strips carefully blended with lightweight sustainable wood. Its quadratic sidecut facilitates fluid edge-to-edge transitions when you're blasting turns down the mountain. And because the Idol was made to ride at blistering speeds, it's equipped with a Sintered EG base that absorbs a ton of wax for a super-fast glide.
