Designed for both skating and classic skiing, the Salomon S-Lab Pursuit Boot is a true multi-discipline race boot. Ideal for skiathlon events, these boots are fitted with a supportive cuff for freestyle lengths, as well as a flexible sole for an efficient glide in the classic track. Built on the carbon 3D skiathlon chassis, the Pursuit allows for plenty of motion in the ankle, as well as lateral support for increased control during descents. A pebax molded shell counter further increases stability while allowing for full power transmission from boot to ski. To further increase power transmission, the boots utilize Salomon's proven Sensifit overlap construction, which wraps the foot for a precise fit and is linked to the chassis through semi-stiff wings resulting in even more control. If that wasn't enough, Salomon then threw in an internal sock, which is composed of a thin material that gives the feel of the boot an even more secure feel. The SNS Pilot racing sole moves the pivot point of the boots about 17mm rearwards from the front, again for increased power transmission and responsiveness.
