Get It Before Labor Day Weekend—Order With Free 2-Day*by 5pm MT 9/2/15

The brother you always wished you had.

Middle children often get overlooked, but the Salomon Rocker2 108 isn't ever going to be content with playing second fiddle to its fatter big brother, the Rocker2 122, or its super-versatile little bro the Rocker2 100. If you have to pick one of them to ski everyday, in power and crud, on groomers and through chop, the 108's the one, with a waist that'll give you more float in powder and an Edgy Monocoque cap construction that provides plenty of edging power while keeping the swing weight down, the nimbleness up, and the fun factor through the roof. The 108 is built with the same Twin Rocker—camber underfoot, rocker in the tip and tail—as its siblings, which gives it the ability to edge powerfully when you lay it over and float, surf, and pivot through powder if you edge a little less aggressively.

In addition to being rockered, the tip features a honeycomb construction to reduce vibration and swing weight, and is tapered to make it easy to carve big, loose powder turns. The tail boasts the same tapered shape, giving the ski a five-point sidecut that's super fun in any depth of soft snow and smooth and predictable in chop and on hardpack. Salomon also stopped the edges at the widest parts of the tip and tail, so there won't be any unexpected catching when you're mobbing through day-old chop at 50mph. Ride it once, and you'll realize that sometimes middle children really are the most fun.
