Your Salomon Quest ski boot soles have seen better days, so switch them out with the Salomon Quest Touring Pads for some peace of mind. The Contagrip traction soles provide excellent grip in sketchy situations and are simple to swap out from your old Quest soles. The Quest Touring Pads also are compatible with other safety touring bindings on the market such as Fritschi, Marker, and Rossignol.

  • NOT compatible with Dynafit bindings

Bottom Line: The Quest Touring Pads increases your boot’s lifespan.

These soles do not have the tech inserts for dynafits. Any photos showing the metal inserts are not of this product. They will work with AT bindings and Salomon bindings with the adjustable toe height... ie: sth16 & sth14 driver.

Gabe, Salomon's tech inserts failed after use in a Dynafit binding. They were recalled by Salomon, so the concern is here whether these are new inserts or the old ones. The old ones should not be on the market. As for the new ones, it's difficult to trust gear that has been through a serious recall due to complete failure.
