Q Vario Ski Pole

New to Salomon's lineup of poles, the Q Vario Ski Pole is a touring-oriented pole with some new innovations for added security in the backcountry. Easily adjusted between 100-135cm, Salomon's Easy Lock System lets you quickly get the right length. Articulated baskets match the angle of the slope you're on, reducing the chance of you pole slipping out. The extended foam grip lets you choke up on your uphill pole while you're side-hilling, and the ergonomic neoprene wrist strap is comfortable and secure for the downhill. The aluminum top shaft is burly enough to take some hits, while the carbon lower shaft saves on weight. The top of the handle is outfitted with a hook that works great when you're adjusting the climbing bar on Salomon's Guardian 16 AT bindings.
