They feature a full wood core, which makes them stable at speed by dampening vibrations and eliminating tip chatter. ABS sidewalls through the middle section of the ski only add to their overall stability, while Salomon's Monocoque construction in the tip and tail make the ski more maneuverable and forgiving than a full side walled ski.
