When you're standing in a race suit, waiting for your group to be called to the starting line, you don't want to be the one kicking at your bindings, begging them to work. A finicky binding has no place in skate skiing—or in any type of skiing—so mount the Salomon Prolink Carbon SK Binding onto your race planks to make sure that when the starting gun goes off, you're focusing on what's ahead of you, not underneath.
New for this year, the Prolink Carbon SK comes built to Salomon's NNN binding standards, delivering new versatility in a discipline not always known for cross-compatibility. True to its race pedigree, the binding delivers a low-profile connection to your boot for a close-to-snow feel when every kick and glide matters. It also mounts directly to your skis, maintaining closeness to the snow without the use of an extra plate. Like the rest of Salomon's skate bindings, the Prolink Carbon SK comes with a flex of 115, and uses a manual step-in system. Salomon purposely shaped the binding to have a wide opening for easy step-in, and used carbon fiber to construct the lever to complete the lightweight, responsive interface.
