Explore uncharted backcountry terrain and go places where few others dare in the Salomon Mountain Patrol Helmet. This incredibly lightweight helmet is both ski- and alpine climbing-certified to ensure safety whether you're going up or down, and it's equipped with plenty of features to keep you comfortable during your journey.
The hybrid shell features a mix of In-Mold construction and injected ABS to keep weight to a minimum while still ensuring a high level of protection. A merino wool blend lining throughout the interior of the helmet manages moisture, regulates temperature, and naturally resists odor to keep you comfy whether you're climbing up or enjoying the ride down. Optimized BC ventilation allows you to control the amount of airflow coming it. Keep the vents wide open when it's sunny and warm, or close them up during a storm. A Custom Dial allows you to adjust the fit so your helmet doesn't slip, and removable ear pads can be left in the car when it's warmer out. Salomon also threw in some reflective stickers so you can stay visible when the clouds are socked in and you're in treacherous terrain.
