Stroll through the ski village in style and comfort in the Salomon Women's Lhasa Winter Boot. The plush fur lining hugs your foot in warmth while the waterproof split suede leather keeps you dry from the slushy streets. A Contagrip outsole grabs slippery sidewalks with ease. Buckles add fashionable detail to this high-style winter boot.
Bottom Line: No need to clomp around in clunky winter boots. Get protection and fashion while wearing the Salomon Lhasa Winter Boot.
The Lhasa is an extremely warm, soft and comfortable winter boot. Great grip in the soles that hold well on snow and ice, with good traction. The boots are rated for (-1F, -18C) and deliver as promised in these temperatures. I wear an 8.5 in normal footwear and the 8.5 Lhasa fit me perfectly with a normal streetwear sock. Definitely a stylish boot option that you can tuck pants into or wear over. They resist snow and water solidly, protect well in even the biggest storms, and transition really well into apres ski and other relaxing activities.
The materials on the boot have been treated, to offer some water resistence but they are not water-proof, like a Gore-tex material.
The boots are fairly high cut and should come up to about mid calf on most ladies.
Keen makes great products as well, but I think you'll be happier with these boots as they provide great warmth, great traction and are far more asthetically pleasing.
These boots are comfy, warm, and cute! I wear these boots both in the mountains and in the city. They are lighter than most snow boots yet offer the same warmth and waterproofing to keep my toes toasty and dry. Plus, they are comfortable, and feel great after a day in my ski boots. They are snug and take a tug to pull them on, but once on they fit like a glove. I was so excited to wear these boots I started wearing them to class in November... although it was slightly premature.

I bought these Salomon boots for a recent trip to the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge in Alaska. It's super remote, and there's still a ton of snow out there (lucky for the heli-skiiers), although the sun is doing a good job of melting it fast. I post-holed regularly up to mid-thigh getting around the lodge grounds, and these boots kept my feet warm and dry. They are super comfy and stylish too! I got a lot of compliments on them, and not just because Salomon is a sponsor at the lodge this year. LOL! I would recommend these for form, functionality and style!
I have really skinny legs, and am perhaps overly apprehensive of bulky boots -- nothing sexy about stomping around Frankenstein style...silly question for snow boots, but how clunky do they look on your feet? Are we talking giant commando boots, or slightly slim profile? I want both function and fashion for the money.
These boots fit true to size. I am between a 6 & 6.5. Since they do not have sz 6.5 in the colour that I want I ordered a 6. They are a bit short...I am debating whether I can live with them or return them. Have not had a chance to try them out in the snow and cold weather yet.
The previous question caused me to question - is there only one size (7) available for your footwear? If so my wife will have to schedule an operation.
Beautiful boot! I had to return it, though. The calf was so narrow it was tight, and there was no way I could tuck my jeans into them. I have slender ankles and calves......
They are the most comfortable warm boots I could wish for. I am in minus 16 degrees ( Finland) and am walking around pulling the kids around and my feet are toasty warm - but not to hot. Did not need to wear them in - walked about 3 to 5 km on first day and could of kept walking. Would strongly recommend for freezing climates. Comfort factor huge a well.
I really love these boots. I was a bit nervous because the only size available was a 7 and I wear between a 7 and a 7.5. They fit perfectly, but they are a bit hard to get on and off. The 7.5 would have been easier I'm guessing. Either way - these are stylish, comfortable and a great purchase!
I ordered these in size 6 which is my size for all shoes. For some reason, these boots are very stiff and I could not unbuckle to loosen these so that I could put my feet in. They look nice but no matter how I try I still could not insert my foot in either boot, what good is it if I could not even try them on? I returned them immediately. I am not sure how others could fit in their size. This is very strange, I never had problem with other brand!?
They're rated down to 0ºf but that might be pushing it if your feet fun cold. They aren't water/snow proof but they are resistant. You can always pick up some Nikwax to make them even more water/snow proof/resistant.
My wife's boots go up to her mid-calf. and the opening on hers is about 4" in diameter. They're really cute and seem to last a long time.Hope that helps._____________________12" from sole
Wish I had these boots when our weather was cold and snowy but at least I am now prepared. I wore them around the house and they are very Comfortable And Extremely Warm. I usually wear size 8 but decided to order size 8 1/2 and was happy I did. Found this size to be easy to get on and off with no feeling of being too big. Overall a stylish, well made boot.
These boots are super comfortable and warm as long as they are the right size! I usually wear a 9 and ordered these in that size. They were too small and I had to reorder a 9 1/2. I also tried the Salomon Ruby and Bliss. They were not as comfortable and also had wierd sizes.
These boots rock the mountain. They are a great mix between fashion and function for my lifestyle. I can slip them on to go sledding with my children or ease into them after a long day of skiing and put my feet by the fire. They are warm and stylish with great gripping action for slick conditions. I believe they are sized large, I am typically a size 9 and had to exchange for a size 8 (which fit well). I cannot say enough about these great boots.
bought these for my sister... she loved them. she hates uggs but loved this style - and they are super warm (girl warm, which is stronger than boy warm).
Extremely warm, very durable, comfortable, cute and keeps legs and feet dry!! I love these boots when it is snowy/very cold. You can step into 10 inches of snow and not even feel wetness or cold, even in negative degree weather. Perfect winter boot for someone looking for comfort, fashion, and protection from the cold.
I had eyed these for a year or so and finally decided to get them in October. I have worn them through a couple of snow storms and love them! The sole allows for good traction and my toes are always warm and cozy. I'm very happy with this purchase!
The calf was too tight for me on this boot and I had trouble buckling one side. I wanted to wear them over skinny pants but would not have had room in my boot.
I could not decide on the which color to buy, so purchased both colors, both colors do look as good as the pictures, and they are as comfortable as slippers. Easy to slip on, without undoing the buckles. Size 8 is actually EUR38 fit. Would buy again if they make it in Brown color.
Love these boots! I live in a small mountain town, with lots of snow at the moment, and these boots are super warm and give me great traction on the icy sidewalks. I would recommend these to any gal!
Since I bought these boots, we've had 2 snowstorms. I wore these boots to shovel snow, go tobogganing, and walking around with my Golden Retriever in the park. They are very warm, very comfortable, durable and stylish. Can't wait until it snows again!!!
