Very breathable and comfy. I wear them for backpacking and have gotten far fewer blisters than I used to with my heavier hiking boots.

I wear size 8 running shoes and my feet drown in the 7.5. I would get a whole size smaller. It's a very wide shoe too. However it is very light with good cushion.
