Cool but funky sizing depending on the color

So here is a weird thing about these shoes. I had ordered the CEMENT BLUE from another vender a while ago and they were HUGE. So When I saw them on sale through BC I ordered the Cement Blue again but a half size smaller than my normal size AND my normal size in Thyme/ Purple. They both fit perfectly. Same exact shoe but the blue seems to be a half size bigger than the purple.

I loved my Salomon Solaris Low shoes until...

I loved my Salomon Solaris Low shoes until they were discontinued. I've tried several other shoes and never found one that had the same width and comfort as the Solaris. I am looking for a shoe with a wide forefoot (I have a narrow heel and a wide forefoot). Does anyone know if this is a wide shoe or which shoe would be most like the Solaris Low? THANK YOU!

i dont know the answer to your question, but i am in the same boat with a wide forefoot and a narrow heal. i have used plastic heal cups in the past that are made to provide more mass around your heal. they are not uncomfortable and they served their purpose.

Liz, I have wide forefoot (bunion) and narrow heel & midfoot. I fit Asics very well. Try Asics Fuji or Nimbus 14. I love Salomon snowboard boots, but have not tried their running or hiking shoes yet. Hope this helps.
