The race-inspired Salomon Enduro XT 800 Ski sounds hardcore because it is. With the added strength and stability of bamboo and two layers of titanium laminate 400, this ski is all about frontside speed. It also has a double-rail Powerline All-mountain active dampening system for exceptional stability when you let it ride on high-speed runouts or swoop super-G turns down an open bowl. Sandwich sidewall construction and total edge reinforcement add edge power, precision, and durability. A medium to small sidecut radius and classic camber mean super-quick turning when you want to go slalom style. A rockered tip makes turn initiation a cinch and provides float when you get that big dump. This is one of Salomon's top-performing all-mountain frontside ski.

I am 6'2" 255. I ski Northern MI,Northern VT I am looking at this ski to purchase, I rent demos at this time. Would the 175 be a good choice? I have not seen these skis available in demo.My concern would be how the bamboo laminate would hold up
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Had the opportunity to test this ski out for a day at Lake Tahoe. Really enjoyed this ski. It is stiff and snappy, which is something I like to have on those hardpack days. It holds an edge well for carving, and it was one of my favorite skis I have ever skied on. I demoed the Volkl Kendo and the Blizzard Bonafide, and this ski, in my opinion, was better than the Volkl Kendo, but not better than the Blizzard Bonafide. Overall, a great ski. You won't be disappointed.
