Raven Combi GTX Mountaineering Boot - Women's

Salewa's Women's Raven Combi GTX Mountaineering Boots were built for everything from backpacking to long approaches, technical alpine climbs, and glacial travel. Their durable upper is composed of both Cordura and PU coated leather, which is then reinforced with a full-wrap rubber rand for increased durability. Backed by a Gore-Tex membrane, the boots are waterproof. The stiff insole excels when climbing up steep, technical climbs and is made from a blend of stiff nylon and fiberglass, giving the boots a supportive feel when scrambling up rotten rock.

Unique to Salewa is the Raven's 3D lacing system, which uses small locks to keep the laces in place, ensuring a secure fit. For support, the boots feature Salewa's 3F Power ankle support system that is designed to hold your ankle into the heel pocket without limiting the flex of your ankle while you hike, making the boots much more comfortable on long approaches than more traditional mountaineering boots. At the base of the boot is an alpine-specific Vibram New Mulaz sole with a climbing zone in the toe. The Raven Combi is semi-automatic crampon compatible.
