Seriously Purchase These Immediately.

I wear these every day. I wear these hiking, I wear these walking my dog, I wear these to the bar, I wear these grocery shopping, and yes-- I wear these on every approach. Salewa claims that their shoes are so good you won't blister, and it's so true. They felt broken in on first wear, and keep getting better and better after nearly two years of solid use. True to size and worth the money.

I bought these for my wife. She works with horses and walks over 120+ miles a week?often in this shoe. Other than the laces breaking they look great! We are so impressed! She has destroyed numerous shoes, but these are the first ones to last at least a year. The only drawback we can think of is that you need to rinse rocks out from around the tongue from time to time to ensure that the fabric does not get ground up. This shoe, while expensive, is our new go to shoe for her work and hiking in the cascades. A stellar product.

Well made, comfortable, great

I see a comment about customizing the footbed. I am looking for hiking shoe/boot for a 9.5/2A. Are there options that could aid me in a good fit for my size? Amber/ma

Business on the bottom, party on top

I wear these shoes for most things I do nowadays. This list includes use as approach shoes for climbing, hiking shoes for bagging fourteeners, work shoes, snowy/icy/slushy day shoes, around town shoes. I can wear them all day with no complaints. The sole is great on snow and ice. I can edge quite handily in these pups and have even done some smearing-many thanks to the lacing system being more like climbing shoes than hiking shoes for this one. The shoes are sturdy enough to stand up to me running my feet into things (I do so quite often) and my toes don't feel a thing. They didn't require any breaking-in period.

And I get complimented on them all the time. I like to say that they're business on the bottom and party on top, but the truth is that the top has some pretty excellent qualities that go well beyond the fashion offered.

Great Shoes!

I bought these for work and not for their intended purpose but I love these. I am a mail carrier and I walk on varied surfaces all day long. I love the tread, the shoes fit like a glove and they are definitely waterproof. They have been especially impressive on icy surfaces. I love these and can wear them through the snow and stay dry. I recommend them to all!!!

All around awesome mountain shoes!

Just wore these to the top of The Grand and back! Pretty stoked on the grip and tread! Fits true to size, maybe a bit big. Solid support through out, no toe jamming, standard width for a women's shoe. Might suggest customizing with your favorite footbed at first, the sole is a bit stiff.
