The Ruffwear Mt. Bachelor Pad Dog Bed is packed with warmth and comfort despite being so thin. It rolls up compactly so you can take it with you when you travel with your best friend. The PVC-free, waterproof, recycled polycloth base handles campground dirt, canyon rock, and park grass so you don't have to worry about bringing all that earthiness back in the house. And when the soft, recycled polyester fleece top gets dirty, it cleans up nicely—just throw it in the washing machine.

  • Neatly rolls into a lean bedroll with carry handles, which makes it easily transportable
  • Thin design means this pad can double as a seat-cover when you're traveling in the car
  • Recycled polyester fleece on top keeps your pooch warm and cozy
  • 1-inch thermal padding preserves your dog's comfort even on rocky terrain
  • PVC-free waterproof recycled polyester base stops moisture like water and mud from entering the pad
  • Machine-washable

The pad belongs to our friends but Nikita couldn't resist. It looks like I'll get her one of her own.

Will the size L bed fit inside the Palisades...

Will the size L bed fit inside the Palisades backpack, size XL?

Hey Laurie,

Unfortunately, it will not fit, the bed(in L) when rolled up is far too big to fit into that pack.

Great travel bed.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I bought this for a nice car mat/ travel mat for my puppy and he really loves it. It's good to have if you want to bring your pup along for the ride or a trip. I kept it out in the house so he got used to it and now he cuddles right up in it when we're traveling. I do wish it was thicker though.
