Dogs get cold too but if I left them home I would never hear the end of it. Best part of this is the elastic straps on the buckles that allow mechanical stretch and flex in the fit.



Followed the sizing and went with the size Medium for both the 55 and 60 lb dogs.

I got this coat for my German Shorthaired Pointer to protect him from cuts and scrapes while on the farm, out hiking, etc.

Sako has an extremely deep chest with small back end which is tricky to fit correctly. The design of this overcoat is the best I've seen - the dog's head goes through the main hole and the chest plate goes underneath and clips in on the sides. The clips are hidden so they don't get caught on anything. The clips are on adjustable straps and there is some elastic to give Sako room to stretch and run without being constrained.

The construction is excellent - material is sturdy and will protect him. Fleece lining is perfect for the mild Utah winters.

Sako is around 3 feet tall, 62# and his chest measures 31". The Medium fits him perfectly. Will purchase Ruffwear again!

Ramsey has a lot of hair and loves the cold so we use this coat mostly for rain. It's really nice and long so completely covers his butt. It seems comfortable for him - he doesn't mind it and it doesn't restrict his movement.

It's particularly useful in the city when you don't want to deal with a completely wet dog after coming home from a rainy walk. And it's a pretty, reflective and a very visible color which can be useful if your pup wanders when he's off leash.

This is a well made quality product and I would highly recommend it for climates that do not experience sub zero temperatures. It states that it is insulated, but because it does not state the insulation material, I was reluctant to wait until we experience our Minnesota winter, I decided to return it. I'm disappointed because it is truly a quality made product.

More burly fabric, will keep your dog warmer. Keeps them a little more clean too. Easy to use and fit.

Easy and adjustable to put on and off . Comfortable and warm. I love this color but the choices are very limited. Will purchase another one for our boxer when she's full grown.

The Ruffwear Dog Overcoat arrived very quickly via UPS. The coat is *very* well made. Seriously, the quality of the fabric, stitching and construction is top notch. The coat is made to the size advertised, and has solid snap latches to secure it under my dog. The straps are adjustable and have some elasticity in them to provide for a good snug fit that still allows my dog to move freely. Very nice product!
