We wish we could eat the Roxy Women's Rhubarb Crumble Jacket. It looks so good. A young, modern take on a classic alpine style coat, the Rhubarb Crumble Jacket pairs delectably with jeans or cords when you're heading to the apres bar after a day on the hill. It'll look so good at the apres bar that you'll end up wearing it around town too.

Strange dye job

The cut of this jacket is great - I'm 5'8", 135 lbs, wear a size 8 pant, and the large fit me wonderfully...

BUT...

The fabric of this jacket looks faded - and if you fold back the flap that covers the zipper, and lift up the pocket flaps, and at the fold crease along the arms and the seams along the torso, the fabric that is hidden from view or was creased is a deep rich purple, opposed to the slightly dusty looking purple of the rest of the jacket. It looks exactly like the jacket was left in the sun and faded. A lot. I thought this was a mistake, until I looked at the pictures on the website here and saw that what I thought had been a shadow was...the darker dye revealed. I can't decide if this is a deal breaker or not. It's a very strange fashion choice in my opinion - why "age" the fabric in that way? Also, the stand-up neck circumference is quite large. I wish it was a more fitted.Still deciding if I'm going to keep it, or return it...

(Also, the arms on the large are quite long, so the large will probably fit tall, willowy types best.)
